Archasm is an online international architectural competition organiser for students and professionals. We are launching our new competition titled ‘Rio Olympics: SUSTAINABLE FANBOX’. The aim of this competition is to design a ‘SUSTAINABLE FANBOX‘, a new typological structure and mascot for the games that would be the prime interaction and gathering zone for the spectators during the Rio Olympics 2016. The competition seeks to recreate the atmosphere of a stadium in a temporary structure where fans who miss out on the live experience could connect with the Olympic games virtually. The FANBOX should communicate a sustainable and profound architectural statement being able to attract and converge visitors around it for intense 24X7 experience of the Rio games.
Our organisation works on a resolute principle of recognition and promotion of talent, and we offer a monetary prize money of USD 1600, 1000 and 600 to the top three winners respectively along with ten honourable mentions for the same. We have tie-ups with a host of media houses like Archdaily, Architecture + Design, Archello and a few other International giants who have promised to publish the winners on their respective portals. Also, we will be publishing the top 50 shortlisted entries on our website and social media pages to present the participants’ hardwork and creativity. The jury for the competition consists of eminent names from the architecture fraternity.
A poster regarding the competition is enclosed with this mail. We request the designated authority to get it printed and pinned up on your announcement/notice board, for the students to see. All other important details about the competition are up on our website, in order to be clear with the format. We strongly believe that our competition will open up the minds of students beyond the regular curriculum and enhance their exposure of working on a global level. It would greatly add to the students’ portfolios and help them seek international and national internships with reputed studios. Hope the poster is up for display to one and all.
